Hurghada is a year-round destination. The best time to visit is from March to June and September to November. Summer (July-August) is hot but perfect for diving, while winter is sunny and mild (20°C-25°C).
Hurghada International Airport (HRG) is the main hub, located just 15 minutes from the city center. For transport, we recommend private transfers or Uber. Avoid unmetered street taxis for a better experience.
Most tourists (EU, UK, USA, etc.) can obtain a Visa on Arrival at Hurghada Airport for $25 USD, or apply for an E-Visa online at least 7 days before traveling.
