Introductory Scuba Diving: Essential FAQs
Can I go scuba diving without a license or experience?
Yes! This trip is specifically designed for beginners. Introductory Scuba Diving (also known as a Discovery Dive) allows you to explore the underwater world with a one-on-one PADI instructor without needing any prior certification.
Can non-swimmers participate in introductory diving?
Yes. Since your instructor will be holding onto you and managing your equipment throughout the entire dive, you do not need to be a strong swimmer. However, you should be comfortable in the water and able to follow basic instructions.
How long should I wait to fly after scuba diving?
For your safety, PADI safety guidelines recommend waiting at least 12 to 18 hours before flying or going to high altitudes after a single introductory dive. Please plan your Sharm El Sheikh excursions accordingly.
Is the diving equipment included in the price?
Yes, our Introductory Diving package includes all necessary scuba gear: wetsuit, BCD (buoyancy jacket), regulator, tank, weights, mask, and fins. There are no hidden rental costs for the diving portion of the trip.
Are there any medical restrictions for diving?
Divers should be in good general health. Diving is not permitted for pregnant women or individuals with serious heart or lung conditions. You will be asked to sign a standard medical fitness form on board before your dive.
